| This Lotus Approach database was developed to enable organised storage and reporting on ecological site surveys. The primary purpose was to "convert" paper-based survey documents in to a format which could be queried and analysed, whilst allowing the documents to be "re-generated" as word documents to mirror their original format.
The functionallity included auto-generation of survey reports and password protection for sensitive information relating to endangered species. The system also manages "merging" of records held on distinct copies of the database for different regions.
