What do I need to know before attending?

It is assumed that you have a skill level equivalent to that gained through attending the intermediate Access training. 

 

What will I expect to achieve at the end of the training?
At the end of this course
you will be able to:

  • Understand the 'languages' behind the scenes -including SQL and VBA.
  • Automate actions using macros and simple Visual Basic procedures.
  • Manipulate data for reports, either within Access or by outputting to other Office applications.
  • Understand the Access security model and the implications for protecting your data and application.
